May 23–24, 2026

About Us:
We are “La Linea del Tempo”, a non-profit, apolitical cultural association born from the passion for history and the culture of past eras. Our main focus is the period of the Second World War, which we bring to life through realistic historical reenactments, exhibitions of original artifacts, and fully restored vintage vehicles. Our goal is to share history in an engaging way, creating opportunities for meeting and collaboration among enthusiasts, scholars, and simply curious people—because remembering the past means better understanding the present.Boston By Way Event 2026
Boston By Way 2026, a weekend entirely dedicated to history with a rich and fascinating program. This event takes its inspiration from a special road: the Boston By Way, built during the Second World War by the Allied forces to connect the Sillaro Valley to the front line. Today it is known as Via Calvanella and continues to tell a story of courage, sacrifice, and hope. We have chosen to host the 2026 edition at the Villaggio della Salute Più (Via Sillaro 27 – Monterenzio, BO), a location of remarkable historical significance and directly connected to the original route of the Boston By Way. During the war, the buildings that now are part of Villaggio della Salute Più first hosted the Axis command and later the Allied command, becoming a key hub in the military logistics of the area. Today, thanks to the support and sensitivity of the management and the availability of spaces, facilities, and services suitable for a large-scale event, we have the opportunity to bring our project to life—not just a reenactment, but a truly immersive experience in the memory of the territory.
