In March, we had the pleasure of taking part in two important events in the Monterenzio area, thanks to the invitation of the association Senio River 1944–1945, with whom we were proud to collaborate.
The first event took place on the evening of March 19, 2026, as part of the Italian Victory 1944–45 series, during the screening titled “200 Days of War in the Idice Valley.” On this occasion, we presented a selection of original items and replicas from the 1940s, helping to make the narration of wartime events in the area even more tangible and engaging. It was an honor for us to take part in such a well-established and high-quality series, sharing with the public our passion for history.
The second event was held on March 29, 2026, among the hills of Monterenzio, during the battlefield tour “In Their Footsteps,” titled “Ca’ del Vento and 180 Days of Tension between Monte Iano and Vignale.” It was an intense and meaningful day, during which we had the opportunity to support Senio River 1944–1945 at the conclusion of an immersive route through the sites of the fighting between Monte Iano and Vignale.
At the end of the walk, at Ca’ del Vento, we displayed several original World War II military vehicles, allowing participants to closely observe period vehicles and gain a deeper understanding of the historical context related to the events that affected this area in the final months of the conflict. The presence of our vehicles helped make the experience even more vivid and tangible.
We would like to sincerely thank the Municipality of Monterenzio for its support and hospitality, and Senio River 1944–1945 for involving us in both initiatives, giving us the opportunity to contribute to preserving the historical memory of the area.
We are also pleased to announce that Senio River 1944–1945 will be present at our event “Boston By Way 2026,” scheduled for May 23 and 24 at Villaggio della Salute Più, with screenings of original footage that will further enrich the experience for visitors.
